A case of primary adenocarcinoma of the female urethra was reported.
The patient was 42 year-old house-wife and complained recurrent growth of tumor mass at the urethral meatus and hematuria with the duration of one year. The tumor mass was resected 2 times before but recurred. The size of the mass was 2x 2 x 1.5cm and located at the left upper margin of external meatus of urethra. The surface was hyperemic and ulcerative. It had rather firm consistency. The gynecologic examination was negative.
Biopsy was done only and it revealed papillary projections which were lined with well differentiated glandular epithelial cells, adjacent to normal stratified squamons epithelium.
A brief review of literatare was made.
